Ruth Coalson - Executive Producer

Ruth is a highly experienced business development director and the owner of an independent consultancy specialising in the fulldome, immersive and creative sectors. She has a long and successful track record in securing funding, conducting market research and developing sales strategies, managing show distribution and bringing digital media productions and software products to market. One of her key strengths is helping businesses reach new audiences. In her role as Executive Producer on “Moonbase: The Next Step” she is guiding Moonraker into the fulldome market, as the company continues expanding their world-class portfolio of immersive films.

Graham Watts - Director

Graham is a creative director with a wealth of experience in science led programming and visual effects. His portfolio of broadcast work includes the Emmy nominated ‘On Jupiter’ for Discovery. 'Sci Fi Science the Physics of the Impossible' with Michio Kaku and Planet Earth II for the BBC. In recent years he has expanded into large screen multi formats with work for the Norway Nature Museum and most recently he has completed a major project for Cornwall's historical site Bodmin Jail, turning it into an immersive and cinematic experience for visitors. Graham was creative lead on the project for Moonraker combining skills from screen, immersion, graphics and VFX projects to deliver over 30 different bespoke formats, from 20m wide screens to interactive iPads.

Simon Clarke - Executive Creative Director

Simon's award-winning creative work has been recognised by his clients and peers through flagship programmes and series for the BBC, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and Channel 4. With a keen interest in Science and Natural History, he has had the opportunity to work with many of the industries leading film makers, producers and directors, most recently on the global success of BBC’s Planet Earth II. As an established VFX Supervisor Simon has spent much of his 22-year career steering the creative and technical process both on-set, on location and with the hugely talented artists in our Bristol Studio, where to this day he remains actively involved in the creative leadership and look development of our projects.

Jenny Shipway - Script Writer

Dr Jenny Shipway is a Science Communication consultant based in Winchester, UK. She has been involved with over a dozen fulldome planetarium productions and has worked with some of the most respected fulldome producers in the industry. She has fourteen years' experience of developing and delivering planetarium shows, including ten years as manager of the 17m Winchester Planetarium. She sits on the International Planetarium Society Education Committee, writes regular columns for The Planetarian magazine, and is a Past President of the British Association of Planetaria.

Tom Kerss - Scientific Advisor

Tom Kerss F.R.A.S. is an astronomer, astrophotographer, bestselling author and consultant. Having previously worked at the Royal Observatory Greenwich, he is founder of Stargazing✦London, which delivers world-class online astronomy courses with experts. Tom is also the host of the Star Signs podcast - a weekly bulletin providing updates from the world of space news, as well as what to look out for in the night sky. Jon Grafton - Executive Producer

Jon started his career working on the production of feature films before specialising in Visual Effects. Jon went on to establish Bristol based visual effects studio Moonraker VFX. Alongside producing work for the BBC (including the hugely successful Planet Earth II), Sky, Apple TV+, Netfix, Amazon and ITV, Jon has produced a number of films in the Visitor Attraction space including for the Thea Award winning Fram Museum and the giant screen Flying Theatre in Changbaishan, China.

Graham Stott - Creative Director

Graham entered the VFX industry having started out as a 2D cell animator. His skillset broadened out as a 3D generalist working on a broad range of projects including BBC1's BAFTA award winning ‘Battlefield Britain'. His interest in finishing shots led to a specialisation away from 3D and into compositing full time. Graham's career reached a new height when, as VFX Supervisor, he was the named recipient of an Emmy and RTS Award, for the History Channel's 'WWII from Space'. Currently, as Creative Director, he continues to apply his enthusiasm and finishing verve to a variety of long form broadcast projects, having delivered work including Wonders of The Monsoon, Planet Earth II, Barbarians Rising for History Channel and Bettany Hughes's 8 Days That Made Rome.
