Moonraker is an Emmy award-winning visual effects studio established in Bristol UK who have been producing films in the Visitor Attraction space - including the Thea Award winning Fram Museum and the Flying Theatre in Changbaishan, China - for the last eight years. Early 2021,  the studio embarked on a new journey stepping into the production of their own film for the Planetarium market – Moonbase: The Next Step.  

Moonbase: The Next Step sets a benchmark for licensable films in the visitor attraction and immersive sector. The film combines Moonraker’s creative vision and passion for science and natural history with extensive experience in immersive theatre, to take planetarium audiences on the next step of space exploration. A journey that will push scientific and technological advances to the limit.

With photo-real visuals creating a completely new approach, planetariums will be enable to immerse their audiences in the lunar landscape hostility and its sheer scale like never before.

Launching in Spring 2022, Moonbase: The Next Step is set to wow audiences of all ages in 4K for planetariums across the globe.
